The Society has decided to re- establish a member's online question list re-named NE-Ancestors. After taking account of the input from members we have decided to widen the scope of the list to include questions about genealogy within Northumberland and Durham. The questions will hopefully be answered by members of the list who have some knowledge of the subject - some members of the Council have joined so the hope is that the responses will help members break down "brick walls", however, please don't ask to be sent your family tree - that's for you to do. The list can also deal with general questions regarding the running of the Society, however specific questions should be addressed to the designated Officer directly in the manner prescribed in the Journal.
