The Branches are a vital part of the life of the Society, promoting fellowship and pursuing a shared interest.
Meetings are generally held monthly in Blyth, Belmont (Durham), Consett, Hexham, London, Newcastle, South Shields, Whitley Bay and Stakeford.
Although not formally a branch of the Society, the North-east Roots get-togethers have been included in the list of branches to allow details of future talks to be posted.
These meetings provide extensive help to our members and include such features as guest speakers, projects, educational demonstrations, workshops, discussions, visits and social events.
Both members and non-members are welcome to attend any meetings.
