Amongst the old photos inherited from my grandfather is a picture of his aunt Sally from Sussex, her son, his wife and daughter.
I do not know why she emigrated to New Zealand and married a Swiss engineer there and subsequently moved to New Caledonia where her son met his French wife.
In 1910 she made a return visit to England bringing with her three Danish children.
